14U Advances to State Finals!

The East Aurora Beast 14U team is heading to the State Final!

After a dominant 3-0 run in round-robin play, 14U faced off against their West Section rivals, the Rochester Aces, in state semi-final this morning. Trailing late in the third period, Matthew Vacanti found the back of the net to tie the game with just 32 seconds remaining. Vacanti wasn't finished, though, he buried his second goal of the game in overtime to punch East Aurora’s ticket to the finals!

This marks the furthest a team from the Aurora Ice Association has ever advanced in the State Tournament!

Location: Northtown Center (Rink 1)
