14U are New York State Champions!

14U closed out a magnificent run at the 2026 New York State Amateur Hockey Association State Tournament! The team went 5-0 on the weekend and claimed the 14U 2026 New York State Championship! In a very physical and fast-paced final game against Cortland Flames, East Aurora battled back from an early 0-1 deficit to take two multi-goal leads throughout the game. East Aurora scoring was led by Scotty Millard, 3 goals, 1 assist. James Petersen was very strong in net for East Aurora making big saves at key moments.

Today's 4-3 finals win is Aurora Ice Association, East Aurora Beast Youth Hockey's first New York State Championship! We are incredibly proud of all players and coaches. Thank you to the East Aurora hockey community for showing up in force for the game today!

We would also like to congratulate our 16U team. 16U made it to the state semi-finals but bowed out to a very strong Rochester Aces team this morning.
